How this page works (click to expand)
Procurement is the bridge between a designed job and a build-ready job. Every part needed for a project gets tracked from "we need it" through "it's in the bin and ready to pull." This page is the live view of where every part stands across every active project.
How to use this page

Start at the top -- KPIs and Recent Activity.
Needs Purchase Request flags Pre-Production jobs that don't have a PR drafted yet.
Pending Items shows what still needs attention (Not Started, Needs Ordering, Ordered).
Other Items is the healthy stuff (Total, Pulled, Received). The right sidebar logs
the most recent status changes and tracking updates.

Pick a view: By Project, By Vendor, or Unassigned Ordered.
By Project is the default -- expand a job card to see every item grouped by vendor.
By Vendor rolls everything up across projects so you can place a single order with
a vendor (use "Mark All Ordered" to bulk-update). Unassigned Ordered is for items
the email parser picked up that couldn't be auto-matched to a project.

Move items through the status flow.
Standard purchased items move Needed -> Ordered -> Received -> Allocated -> Pulled -> In Bin.
Shop-made items move Needed -> In Production -> Pulled -> Shipped. Use the dropdown
on each row to update one at a time, or the bulk button on the vendor view.

Resolve unassigned shipments.
On the Unassigned Ordered tab, each item has two buttons.
Assign to Project sends the full quantity to a single active project.
Split opens a quantity picker so you can divide the shipment across multiple
projects (e.g. one box of hinges shared across three jobs). Once assigned, the item's
tracking number flows through to the project view.

Filter and toggle.
Use the status dropdown to focus on one stage (e.g. just "Ordered" to see what's in transit).
Toggle Show completed to bring closed jobs back into view. Project cards collapse
by default -- click the header to expand.
Where the data comes from
Items and SKUs come from Airtable (Purchase Requests + Master SKU List). Project status and PR
flagging come from JobTread. Tracking numbers and shipment ETAs come from parsed vendor shipping
emails. Status changes you make here are saved to tools/maestro-dashboard/data/procurement_status.json
and reflected back into the activity log.
